Hello friends,

I am once again participating in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am fundraising tournament for Alzheimer’s and I am hoping to gain your donation support to reach my fundraising goal. 

This year will be particularly meaningful……….. My Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2010 and managed the disease with much grace. My father Lloyd dedicated his life to caring for her each and every day. It was the truest display of love and dedication one could ever witness. On March 13th 2025, my Mom lost her 15 year battle with Alzheimer’s and peacefully passed away. 

Having lost my grandmother and now my mother to the disease, I have seen the toll it takes not only the patient but the family and caregivers. My wife’s mother has also been diagnosed and is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. In raising funds, we are able to help those living with the disease as well as their families and support finding a cure for this cruel and fatal disease.
