On the weekend of May 24 - 26, 2024, I will participate in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. The Pro-Am is a weekend hockey event where we welcome NHL Alumni from across North America to help us raise money for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.
Your generosity supports Alzheimer’s caregivers to live healthier and fuller lives, preparing our community for the future when millions more step into this role.
We, the players, each pay entry fees to cover the cost of ice, refs, and other logistics for the weekend. The obligation and effort is to get as much donors funds directly to the charity. Donations therefore are tax deductible.
