On May 22-24, 2026, I will participate in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am Hockey Tournament.  The Pro-Am is a weekend event where we welcome NHL Alumni from across North America to help us raise money for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.

My Dad was diagnosed in 2017 with an aggressive form of Alzheimer's. It started with him being forgetful, then unable to recognize family, eventually unable to communicate or walk, and today is not able to feed himself.

Your generosity not only supports myself and my family in raising awareness about this disease but more importantly supports Alzheimer’s caregivers to live healthier and fuller lives, preparing our community for the future when millions more step into this role.  Funds also go to research for treatment and hopefully, eventually a cure.
