Hello,

Once again, I will be participating in the “Gordie Howe Cares’ Pro-Am hockey tournament. This Pro-Am hockey event invites NHL Alumni from across North America to Calgary to help raise funds for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society. As in past years I am reaching out to help raise funds in support of this initiative. Over the last two seasons, with the help of your donations and lots of elbow grease, I have raised just over $5,000. This has helped my team, the "Goodbuggers”, to reach the $400,000 mark, with 100% of the donations going directly to Gordie Howe Cares.

Your tax-deductible donation allows Gordie Howe CARES to provide education and support to the caregivers that selflessly dedicate their time caring for loved ones affected with Alzheimer’s and Dementia related diseases, so they are never alone on their journey.  Through the incorporation of video stories, advice, and planning tools, they can feel confident making decisions collectively while maintaining their health and relationships at home and in the workplace. 

Please understand there is absolutely no pressure to donate. If you are interested and able, your donation will be more then appreciated.
