As many of you know, my dad, Dale Butterwick, is suffering from Alzheimer's. Diagnosed in 2019, and suffering from symptoms long before then, he has been battling this awful disease and slowly deteriorating for a long time. I have seen first hand what this disease does, and it is truly awful.
In May of 2026, I will participate in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. The Pro-Am is a weekend hockey event where we welcome NHL Alumni from across North America to help us raise money for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.
