In May of 2025, I will participate in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. The Pro-Am is a weekend hockey event where we welcome NHL Alumni from across North America to help us raise money for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society. Your generosity supports Alzheimer’s caregivers to live healthier and fuller lives, preparing our community for the future when millions more step into this role.

Gordie Howe CARES is special to me. Alzheimer's and caring for those afflicted has impacted my family. I lost my paternal grandfather, a World War II veteran, and other family members to this ailment. Most importantly my Great Uncle Ronnie embodied the spirit of Gordie Howe Cares while lovingly caring for my Great Auntie Joan. Gordie Howe CARES focuses on the caregivers.
