In May of 2026, I will participate in the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. The Pro-Am is a weekend hockey event where we welcome NHL Alumni from across North America to help us raise money for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.
I saw the effects of this disease first hand when a transformative CEO joined our company and had a massive impact on our organization. Unfortunately, within a short couple of years he was severely effected by this horrible disease. Caregiver support is so important for families suffering from this devastating disease, it's hard to know who it will effect and at what age.
Your generosity supports Alzheimer’s caregivers to live healthier and fuller lives, preparing our community for the future when millions more step into this role.
