Welcome to My Personal Page
In May of 2025, I will lace up my skates for the Gordie Howe CARES Pro-Am. This special weekend hockey event unites NHL Alumni from across North America to raise funds for the Gordie Howe CARES Centre for Alzheimer’s Research and Education Society.
This cause means a lot to me. Almost a year and a half ago, my mom passed away. Although she wasn't officially diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she experienced a decline that resembled dementia. It was a challenging time, but it also highlighted the importance of support and compassion for those affected by similar conditions.
Throughout her journey, I witnessed firsthand the dedication and sacrifices caregivers make. It made me realize how crucial it is to support them, as their efforts significantly impact the lives of their loved ones. I think about all the friends, family, and clients who face these challenges, and I know there will be many more in the future. Anything we can do to help is incredibly important.
I've been part of this fundraising hockey tournament for many years, but the cause has never felt more personal. The event brings together a supportive community of people who understand and share similar experiences. It's a time filled with joyful moments, some tears, and a powerful sense of unity.
Your generosity helps Alzheimer’s caregivers live healthier and fuller lives, preparing our community for a future where millions more will need support. Please join me in this important cause by contributing to my fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. I deeply appreciate your support and will keep you updated on my progress.
Thank you for your support!
